Abstract
The talk will highlight the unique partnership between the Subang Jaya Medical Centre, the Malaysian Society of Anaesthesiologist and the Ministry of Health Malaysia in coming together to take part in the Global Surgery initiative back in 2023. The unique role of the private sector and the expertise that was brought in from both the clinical and non-clinical aspect will be shared as well. I will also share some of the challenges and how the team overcame those challenges. I will also be sharing some of the benefits of the programme to the private sector and hopefully in the future more of such partnership will take place for the benefit of the general public.
