Dr. Agus is a highly experienced General Surgeon with a long-standing commitment to medical service. He received his medical education from Airlangga University in Surabaya, where he earned his General Practitioner qualification between 1985 and 1993, followed by his specialization in General Surgery from 1998 to 2005.
His career began as a General Practitioner at Rekso Waluyo General Hospital Mojokerto (1993-1994) and Werinama Health Center in Maluku (1994-1996). Dr. Agus transitioned to General Surgeon roles in Maluku, serving at Masohi General Hospital from 2005. He dedicated a significant period to public health through the Sailing Medical Service at Tulehu General Hospital from 2006 to 2015.
Currently, Dr. Agus contributes his expertise to the Ksatria Airlangga Hospitalship, a role he has held since 2017, demonstrating his ongoing dedication to providing medical care to diverse communities. He also served at Dokter Soetomo Hospital from 2020 to 2024.
Abstract
Dedicating 20 years of his life as a general surgeon for the islanders, he built a hospitalship called the Ksatria Airlangga Hospitalship. There were two operating rooms inside the hospitalship and it was enough for him and his companions to carry out operations make the islanders’ dreams come true.
