Halimuddin bin Sawali

Graduated from MS Ramaiah Medical College, (Bangalore University) in 1998. Subsequently completed Master in Otorhinolaryngology (ORL) from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia ( UKM ) in 2009. Then went for Subspeciality training in Paediatric ORL for 3 years which was completed in 2015.

Appointed as Sabah State ORL Surgeon since 2016 until now, was Queen Elizabeth Hospital ORL HOD from 2016 until 2024. Also Paediatric ORL HOD at Sabah Women and Child Hospital from 2018 until now.

Has expanded ORL Services into smaller district and gazzetted many junior ORL Surgeons.
Is member of National POMR Board,
Examiner for final ORL examinations, and many other associations.
