Abstract
Neonatal surgery is a highly specialized field dedicated to addressing congenital abnormalities, acquired conditions and life threatening disorders in newborn.
With the progress and advances in peri-operative care, imaging technique and surgical technique have significantly improved survival rates and enhanceed the quality life of neonates requiring surgical intervention.
However despite these advancements, challenges persist in certain areas; particularly those with diverse geosocioeconomic backgrounds.
This presentation will discuss current limitation, highlight areas requiring strategic intervention and propose adaptable solutions for improving neonatal surgical care here.
